Beef Liver

Beef Liver is amongst the most nutrient-dense of all foods, with good bio-accessibility, containing Vitamins A, B Complex & D, as well as iron, copper, zinc and folate, and phosphorus to keep bones and teeth healthy. Being air dried, our Beef Liver retains the enticing aroma and nutritional value of raw liver without the mess. A note of caution though – organ meat (heart, liver, kidneys etc) is high in Vitamin A which, in excess, can cause joint problems. So moderation is the key here, as there is so much good nutrition in organ meat for us all, four-footed and two-footed alike, and liver definitely contributes health benefits. We think the best use is cut into small pieces as a super tasty training treat or a smaller reward – perhaps 30g per day, but definitely small amounts – and also to vary the natural treats for your dog according to their different benefits. ps It is our Freddie’s favourite treat.
